Marketing Year Round Intern

Position Summary: The Marketing Intern is responsible for leading the marketing strategies and enhancing the Wolverine brand globally as well as perform market research and analysis. 

 

Position Responsibilities:

 

  1. Global Trade Show preparation, support and project coordination. 
  2. Manage, maintain and enhance the Wolverine global brand. 
  3. Create and update product brochures for all market segments and regions. 
  4. Create and maintain global product display boards. 
  5. Responsible for developing, maintaining and updating the Wolverine website. 
  6. Responsible for social media postings, development and updates.
  7. Create and maintain Wolverine brand related presentations which may include: Corporate Overview, Corporate Template, internal and external presentations
  8. Maintain and coordinate Wolverine promotion products including apparel and giveaways for employees and customers. 
  9. Maintain global office graphics standards.
  10. Manage Trademarks, Patents, NDA`s and other customer agreements.
  11. Trade point of contact – visitor screening, Free Trade Agreements, and other trade issues.
  12. Research and select Wolverine applicable global advertising. 
  13. Creates routine correspondence, reports, forms, tables, pamphlets, etc. from rough draft, handwritten notes, or general verbal instructions and makes changes in grammar, punctuation or spelling as needed.  Proofreads and edits drafts and final materials for appropriate and consistent format, corrects punctuation, spelling and grammar. 
  14. Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management system (TS 16949).
  15. Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  1. Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related general business degree required with graduation date of December 2025 or later. 
  2. Expertise is all applicable computer software programs including but not limited to MS Office: Word, PowerPoint, & Excel, and applications.
  3. Proficiency with internet, social media, and other general marketing trends in communication. 
  4. Excellent written and oral communication skills; must be detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  5. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  6. Customer focused and brand aware with a keen sense on messaging information to internal and external customers. 
  7. Relationship building skills that help develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external customers.
  8. Problem solving and analysis abilities to ensure positive communications flow both internally and with customers.
