HRD Student Ambassador
HRD Student Ambassadors will serve as representatives of the HRD program, the Department of Organizational Leadership and more broadly the university. They will play an integral role in the recruitment of prospective students and assist in actively engaging current students enrolled in the program.
HRD Student Ambassador Responsibilities and Activities:
- Attend a minimum of 3 events per semester and dedicate 10 hours per month (may include nights and weekends). As an ambassador, participation can include:
- Assist with on-campus recruitment events such as: Transfer Open House, HRD Recruitment Night and Alumni After Glow, SEHS Day, Major/Minor Expo, etc.
- Assist with off-campus recruitment events such as Information Days, Community College Recruitment, etc.
- Provide information about the HRD program, the application process, course work, etc. to prospective students and their families
- Participate in presentations and/or panel discussions.
- Answer questions from prospective students, in person, virtually and/or via email
- Be featured on SEHS website and/or on other printed materials
- Work with SEHS Academic Advising as needed
Application Requirements:
- Be currently enrolled in the HRD program
- Have completed at least 4 semesters in the HRD
- GPA of 2.0 or higher
- Be willing and able to communicate with prospective, current and alumni of the HRD program
- Attend the HRD Student Ambassador training session
