Intern, myQ Mobile Developer (Android or iOS) (Summer 2025)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated and passionate about developing mobile experiences. This internship will provide the opportunity to gain experience in the development of elements of websites and mobile experiences. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of individuals including VPs, Directors, Lead Software Architects, and Mobile Developers. This opportunity will enable exposure to the following types of languages and platforms: Swift, Kotlin, Android, iOS.
- Develop elements for mobile projects
- Assist in implementing layout and functionality specs
- Assist Development team in completing projects on time
- Participate in the brainstorming of user experience (UI/UX) and mobile development solutions
- Contribute to multi-screen development including implementation of mobile-responsive design
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience creating native mobile applications in either Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android)
- Must be able to work from our Oakbrook, IL office (15 miles west of Chicago) 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rising Senior standing towards a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields of study from an accredited college or university
- Completed mobile development online courses or bootcamps
- Functional knowledge of Version Control Systems (GIT)
- Awareness of the latest development trends and ability to adapt these trends into mobile functionality
