Position Overview:
We are seeking talented and passionate video editors to join our team for a 16-week unpaid internship. As a Video Editor Intern, you’ll have the chance to work on a variety of projects, including:
- Podcasts: Bring our comedy podcasts to life with dynamic editing and visuals.
- Behind-the-Scenes: Edit exciting behind-the-scenes content that gives our audience a glimpse into the making of comedy shows and events.
- Comedian Interviews: Edit interviews with comedians, helping shape fun, engaging content.
You’ll work 10 hours per week with 7-day turnarounds for assigned video projects, gaining hands-on experience in a fast-paced media environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit videos for podcasts, behind-the-scenes footage, and comedian interviews.
- Collaborate with our team to create engaging and entertaining content.
- Deliver high-quality videos within 7 days of receiving assignments.
- Ensure that video content aligns with the tone and humor of SlapStik Comedy.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- A passion for comedy, entertainment, and digital media.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in video storytelling.
