Marketing and Communications Intern - Kansas City
Job Summary
The Marketing & Communications Intern will help define, execute and measure successful Marketing initiatives for the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team. Including client and solutions marketing efforts.

Duties may include
- Carry out day-to-day support tasks needed to maintain functionality, content, CMS administration and performance of the website
- Support processes for updating, refreshing and building out new content through the Content Management System (CMS)
- Support marketers’ by ensuring web content is maintained and optimized according to their strategies, campaigns and business needs
- Support website marketing manager as needed with SEO tasks such as keyword ranking research including discovery and expansion of keyword opportunities
- Help manage our inflow of organic and paid social media requests from across the company to organize, prioritize and publish engaging content that meets stakeholder needs across channels
- Support the development and execution of paid social media strategies and campaigns in conjunction with market sector teams to drive brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across various social media channels
- Develop and apply value propositions for Client types for selling a full portfolio of Solutions across existing and new clients
- Support planned and ad-hoc marketing campaigns for portfolio offerings drawing on the Solutions Marketing resources
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Marketing & Communications team to develop multimedia content that promotes the company’s services and solutions
- Participate in all aspects of video production, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, and editing
- Assist with video shoots, including setting up equipment, pre-production planning and coordination, and conducting interviews
Preferred Qualifications
- Current enrollment in Marketing, communications, or related degree program preferred
- Work experience in a marketing related role or internship preferred
- Demonstrated familiarity with social media, website management, video and general marketing preferred
Minimum Qualifications
Current enrollment in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Multimedia, Public Relations or a related degree program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
