EJ has an opening for a Summer 2025 Industrial Engineering Intern.

Location:  Elmira, Michigan

SUMMARY

The Industrial Engineering Intern will work at our new East Jordan Foundry located in Warner Township, Michigan. This facility began production in November of 2018 and provides multiple opportunities for a student to receive hands-on problem-solving and engagement in the operations of a state-of-the art and technically driven iron foundry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Standardize work instructions.  
  • Work on process improvement projects.
  • Assist with fixture design for automation.
  • Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement with regard to a safe work environment.  Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
