Engineering Intern
EJ has an immediate opening for a 2025 Summer Engineering Intern.

Location: Tooele, Utah
SUMMARY
This Engineering Intern will be working in our Fabricated Products Engineering team to help investigate improvements within the engineering team concerning work flow, drawing standards and practices. The student will work at the Salt Lake City Fabrication in Tooele, Utah directly with the Engineering Manager, as well as the drafting team and fabrication facility. They will identify issues and use general problem-solving skills to come up with well-engineered solutions. The student will utilize their classroom knowledge and use as problem solving tools in real world scenarios. Day to day tasks will include CAD drafting (3D SOLIDWORKS), creation of shop documents, and completing essential updates to current drawings.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Apply SOLIDWORKS knowledge and its application for product design for manufacturing.
- Learn design process from NPR/Submittal through production and shipping of products.
- Apply Engineering design knowledge and skills for design in daily tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from a four-year college or university.
