Carrier Sales Intern

As a Carrier Sales Intern, you’ll be part of a dynamic environment that pushes your limits, challenges you to excel, and empowers you to carve your own path to success. In this role, you’ll cultivate relationships with truckload carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure freight moves seamlessly from point A to B.  

What We're Looking For:  

Current students with an expected graduation date by May 2026 

Gritty, highly motivated self-starter with a relentless drive to succeed  

Outstanding communicator, strong negotiator and the ability to connect with people  

Sales experience is a plus, but not required. We want people eager for results!  

Willing to work on-site and full-time throughout the summer  

Determination to outwork your peers. If a strong work ethic doesn’t come easily, this might not be the right position for you  

Confident ability to build relationships and establish rapport with clients, peers, and leaders  

Proactive decision-making, issue resolution ability, and problem-solving skills  

Self-motivation, strong work ethic, with an entrepreneurial and competitive spirit  

Resilience and persistence with the ability to maintain composure in stressful conditions  

Adaptability with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment  

  

What You'll Do:  

Make 85 cold calls to truckload carriers to fulfill shipping commitments  

Negotiate rates with carriers and book loads  

Focus on building new relationships as you build your own carrier portfolio  

Provide top notch service to partner carriers and internal stakeholders while being rewarded for exceeding metrics such as outbound calls, loads moved and automation targets  

Resolve service failures in an industry where chaos is bound to occur
