Job Title: WordPress Intern

Job Type: Internship (Full-time/Part-time)

Duration: 3-6 months (with the possibility of extension or full-time offer based on performance)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and creative WordPress Intern to join our team. As a WordPress Intern, you will assist in building and maintaining our website, ensuring a seamless user experience and visually appealing design. You will gain hands-on experience in web development, content management, and SEO optimization, working closely with our digital marketing and content teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining WordPress websites.
  • Customize themes and plugins to meet the company's requirements.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to integrate graphics, multimedia, and other content into the website.
  • Update and publish content on the website using the WordPress CMS.
  • Ensure website functionality and performance, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
  • Perform basic SEO optimization tasks, such as improving site speed, meta tags, and keywords.
  • Conduct website testing and ensure mobile and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Stay updated on WordPress best practices and industry trends.

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of WordPress and its core features.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (basic knowledge required).
  • Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to web content.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends in web development.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with popular WordPress plugins like Elementor, Yoast SEO, WooCommerce, etc.
  • Familiarity with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a plus.
  • Previous experience in web development, content management, or similar roles is preferred but not required.
