Intern - Vendor Relations & Outreach

Internship Application - Vendor Relations & Outreach Team (Unpaid)

Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated team of 10 top-tier interns to join our Vendor Relations & Outreach Team. This is an unpaid opportunity to gain real-world experience in managing vendor relationships, organizing vendor data, and expanding our network by bringing in new partners. You will be responsible for cleaning up, organizing, and continuously improving our vendor database while actively reaching out to potential new vendors to grow our platform.

Key Details:

• Internship Duration: Now through December 31 or May 31 (based on your availability)
• Meeting Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM NYC time
• Position: Unpaid, but offering invaluable experience in vendor management and outreach.

What You’ll Do:

1. Vendor Relationship Management:
• Review and organize all current vendor relationships to ensure data accuracy and clear communication.
• Keep track of all vendor details, including contact info, contracts, and product listings.
• Ensure that all vendors are up-to-date with our processes, requirements, and timelines.
• Handle communications with existing vendors to resolve issues or manage requests.
2. Vendor Outreach:
• Identify and research new potential vendors to join our platform.
• Reach out to vendors via email, phone, or social media, presenting our platform and the benefits of partnering with us.
• Manage the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring that all necessary information and agreements are in place.
• Maintain a pipeline of potential vendors and regularly follow up with leads to close new partnerships.
3. Database Cleanup & Organization:
• Clean up and reorganize the vendor database to ensure it is accurate, easy to navigate, and up-to-date.
• Create systems for tracking vendor performance, contract status, and product listings.
• Implement best practices for managing vendor relationships and maintaining clear communication.
4. Strategy Development:
• Help develop and refine strategies for expanding our vendor base and improving relationships with existing vendors.
• Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Marketing, IT) to ensure smooth integration of vendor products into our platform.
• Track vendor performance and provide feedback on areas for improvement or opportunities for growth.
