Global Health Experiential Fellowship
The Global Health Experiential Fellowship (GHEF) is a transformative, five-week, in-person program designed for highly motivated undergraduate, graduate, and medical students passionate about global health. Fellows will have the opportunity to engage in high-impact research projects in Uganda, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in global health, epidemiology, and public health.
Program Highlights:
- Research Mentorship: Fellows will work alongside esteemed global health practitioners, including Yale Medical School researchers and ETH directors, Dr. Robert Rosenheck and Dr. Yang Jae Lee.
- Collaborative Research Projects: Fellows will collaborate with Ugandan undergraduate and master's students to conduct research on key topics related to global health, contributing to projects that directly impact local communities.
- Global Health Equity Symposium: After returning to the U.S., fellows will present their preliminary research findings at the annual Global Health Equity Symposium in the fall.
- Publication Opportunities: Fellows will have the chance to continue their research beyond the summer and contribute to a peer-reviewed publication on a global health topic.
