Position: Supply Chain Intern

Duration: 6 months

Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time (25 hours minimum)

Location: Onsite Southfield, Michigan - tkMNA HQ -  (M-F)

OR Santa Fe Springs, California - West Coast Hub (M-F)

***ALL candidates to be considered must be eligible to work in the USA.  No sponsorship opportunity exists for these two roles.***

Relocation: This is NOT AN OPTION for this role, candidate must be local to the assigned office area.  Schedule is based on students schedule and the offices needs.

Start Date: May 2025

Student Class: Active Junior - Senior, Current Grad Student

Pay Range: $18.50 - $22.50/hour

Majors: Supply Chain, Business, Math, or similar

Summary: As a Supply Chain Intern, you'll dive into the heart of Supply & Demand business planning, collaborating with Corporate Buyers and Managers in the Procurement team. Engage in daily reporting, analysis, and data entry, gaining exposure to key Supply Chain Management (SCM) concepts. Your journey will involve efficiently managing working capital in a dynamic and customer-focused business, all with the aim of optimizing return on that capital. Plus help us prepare to dive into our new purchasing system!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enter and update data in our SAP system, gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  • Provide quick responses to internal communications, actively supporting the Procurement team.
  • Engage in meaningful communication with suppliers to update the status of open purchase orders.
  • Play a crucial role in reconciling open invoices with suppliers against goods receipt records.
  • Contribute to both standard and ad hoc reporting initiatives.

Background and Skills:

  • Pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Math, or a closely related field.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, but a willingness to learn is highly valued.
  • A passion for task follow-up and a commitment to excellence.
