Title: Financial Analyst Intern

Reports to: Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer

Employment type: Paid summer internship (in-person)

Location: Buckhead (Atlanta, GA)

 

Sage Mountain, a Registered Investment Advisor, is seeking dynamic individuals to serve in our paid internship program. We are an all-inclusive wealth management firm and alternative investment community providing concierge-level service dedicated to protecting and growing a family's net worth for this generation and the next. Our clientele is comprised of high-net-worth individuals and their families, and we advise on over $5 billion in assets. Sage Mountain has a fiduciary responsibility to our clients, meaning that we sit on the same side of the table giving advice, not selling products. 

High integrity, attention to detail, excellent communication, and enthusiasm for teamwork are key. The ideal candidate will understand that a positive attitude and efficiency in task management will be key drivers for success. We expect this person to, with training, perform the following responsibilities: 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Gain industry and organizational knowledge through daily interactions and job assignments.
  • Improve business and financial skills needed for a career in wealth management and financial services.
  • Support research team with investment due diligence.
  • Assist with miscellaneous projects pertaining to reporting, client service, compliance, financial planning, or advisory support.
  • Develop portfolio management skills such as analyzing and implementing asset allocation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required and in pursuit of college degree (Finance, Accounting, Business, Econ, etc.)
  • This is a 10-week internship, Monday, June 2nd- Friday, August 8th. Exact dates subject to change based on candidate availability.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to work on a team.
  • Strong desire to gain further understanding of the wealth management business.
  • Must be willing to work full time in our Buckhead office. This is not a remote position. Housing, or stipends for housing beyond normal wages, are not provided.
