We are seeking an ambitious and motivated Corporate Strategy & Development intern to join our team. This remote internship offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of driving McGraw Hill’s strategic growth. While the role is remote, candidates based in New York City can be in the office and will have the opportunity to collaborate in-person with our local team. This position is ideal for a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, government, or a related field. This is a 10-week summer internship from June 9th – August 22nd (flexible start date) and is a remote internship. Candidates need to currently be pursuing a degree within the United States. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Assist in developing and executing strategic initiatives to support the company's growth objectives
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends and opportunities
• Support the preparation of presentations and reports for executive leadership
• Analyze financial data and assist in financial modeling for business cases
• Support M&A evaluation across McGraw Hill’s business units including assessments of potential targets

What We’re Looking For: 

• Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program, majoring in business, government, or a related field; rising junior or senior preferred
• A proactive and adaptable mindset, eager to learn and take on new challenges
• Quantitative and analytical skills, with ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of creating visually compelling presentations
• An understanding of business acquisitions and partnerships
• Ability to work independently, be flexible and manage ambiguity in a remote setting while effectively managing time and deadlines
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

The pay range for this position is between $18-$20/hour, however, pay offered may vary depending on degree pursuing, knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
