Summer 2025 Fiber Operations Internship

T-Fiber, a division within T-Mobile, provides cutting-edge fiber optic solutions. Our Fiber Operations team is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and customer satisfaction. As a rapidly growing organization within T-Mobile's new business venture, we manage customer experience and oversee Fiber partnerships. This includes developing scalable processes and tools for our expanding network of wholesale partners and integrating two fiber joint ventures.
What You’ll Do
The Partner Integration Manager will implement and carry out integration strategies to meet strategic goals and deadlines. This person will cultivate a partnership with internal and external partners to promote cooperation and communication amongst teams thru the integration process. They optimize the customer experience thru the process and develop strategies to mitigate risks. This individual will regularly interact with senior leadership to provide updates to timelines and key milestones. This individual will specifically focus on building processes and procedures to activate, install and support business customers.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join our Fiber Operations team. The intern will work closely with our internal team and external partners to develop and implement a comprehensive process and strategy for serving our business customers. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry and contribute to meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development of a process and strategy for fiber operations targeting business customers.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and industry trends.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and insights.
Support the creation of documentation, including process maps, strategy plans, and project reports.
Participate in meetings and provide input on project progress and challenges.
Assist in the implementation and testing of new processes and strategies.
Prepare presentations and reports for senior management.
What It Takes
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, or Engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Minimum Qualifications
At least 18 years of age
Legally authorized to work in the United States
Must have graduated within the last 12-months, OR be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.
Relocation assistance may be provided to program participants who reside more than 50 miles from the internship location.
Intern wages range from $20/hour to $40/hour. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on experience/location.
