Marketing Intern

Join Big Boy Restaurants as a Marketing Intern with a focus on Graphic Design and kick-start your career with a dynamic marketing team! This paid internship lasts 6 months, with the possibility of potentially transitioning into a full-time position. The role offers a diverse range of projects, emphasizing graphic design with Adobe software, including local marketing materials, social media graphics, posters, and magazine ads. You'll also participate in video shoots, photoshoots, and hands-on tasks like cutting, packing, and shipping marketing materials to restaurants.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design a variety of marketing materials using Adobe Creative Suite, including posters, brochures, flyers, and digital assets.
  • Assist with daily administrative duties.
  • Help manage the day-to-day operations of all our social media platforms.
  • Plan and execute various events and local restaurant marketing (LRM) initiatives.
  • Research, evaluate, and provide reports/feedback to the Marketing Manager on current trends.
  • Contribute to email campaigns, social media content, and other digital marketing efforts.
  • Analyze available data for critical insights, website performance, SEO, SEM, display ads, social media, print promotions, and outbound email campaigns.
  • Cut, pack, and ship marketing materials to various restaurant locations.
  • Assist with video shoots and photoshoots to support marketing campaigns.

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Public Relations (PR) Assistant – Incumbent will assist with marketing efforts to promote all divisions of the Big Boy brand.
  • Report social media findings to the Marketing Team.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Work Details:

  • 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • In-person at Big Boy Restaurant Group's Corporate Office.
