This role: A day and week in the life…

  • Design, develop, unit test and support the Billhighway suite of applications, using C#, SQL, JavaScript and other languages as needed.
  • Use issue tracking systems, Jira, and source control, git, to adhere to sound engineering principles.
  • Produce documentation of techniques used to remediate escalated issues and develop guides on how to perform essential job functions, to improve future developer experience.
  • Collaborate with senior developers for mentoring and coaching.
  • Handling periodic on-call duty and out-of-band requests

 

This role: You will be successful in this role if you…

  • Prior software developer internship experience is a plus. 
  • Have proficiency in C#, .NET framework, JavaScript and SQL through academic projects or coursework. 
  • Have familiarity with object-oriented software techniques and ER data modeling concepts.
  • Can resolve complex issues and document root-cause analysis.
  • Have strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Recent graduate or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
