ADAS Systems Engineer Intern

In this internship, you will assist and support other ADAS System Engineers in developing and refining ADAS features including algorithm and Simulink model development, simulation, verification, validation, and comprehensive documentation. You will collaborate with the brightest minds to create a better future through innovative mobility solutions and help keep our customers ahead in a world of rapid and unpredictable technological advancements.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support to execute real-world evaluation of ADAS & ECU features via MIL/SIL/HIL, identify system problems/issues, and development of new MATLAB/Simulink algorithms.
- Support and coordinate root-cause analysis efficiently with internal teams to ensure the delivered ADAS system achieves feature requirements from customers.
- Perform experiments and analyze data, create new techniques and evaluations, and make reports.
- Create technical documentation, design specifications, and best practice guides for ADAS solutions. Share knowledge and expertise with internal teams and stakeholders to foster learning and collaboration.
- Perform additional projects & tasks assigned to support the overall mission, vision & goals of our department.
- Maintain a safe workplace and follow all regulations and requirements related to safety and environmental compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proficient programming skills in MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++, and/or Python are mandatory.
- Knowledge of image processing using data from an in-vehicle camera is preferred.
- Knowledge of the ADAS control function is preferred.
- Prior experience with real-time algorithm development for image processing/sensor fusion systems is preferred.
- Ability to make test plans and execute experiments.
- Ability to work in a team environment and present development outcomes to sponsors and customers.
- Excellent writing and communication skills will be required.
Education:
Master's degree in engineering or related areas is preferred.
Experience:
- Previous development or industry experience in ADAS is preferred.
- Exposure to Automotive engineering is preferred, including the following:
- An understanding of automotive components and embedded systems.
- Knowledge of ADAS sensors and ADAS control function.
- An understanding of chassis systems and vehicle dynamics is a plus.
