Chapter Development Intern

Position Summary:

As a Chapter Development Intern (Sales and Marketing) at NSTEM, you will play a vital role in our mission by supporting the growth and expansion of our chapters. This unique internship offers practical experience in sales and marketing strategies and provides an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to our organization's local chapters. You will work closely with our Sales and Marketing team, engage in chapter outreach, recruit and engage new chapter leaders and members, and contribute to marketing initiatives to promote our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chapter Outreach: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to identify potential new chapters and conduct outreach to organizations, schools, and communities.
  • Recruitment and Engagement: Assist in recruiting and engaging new chapter leaders and members, guiding them through the process of joining and participating in the organization.
  • Email Marketing: Contribute to email marketing campaigns to promote our organization and chapter opportunities by creating engaging content and managing email lists.
  • Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with existing chapters, providing support and resources to enhance their success.
  • Data Management: Maintain and update chapter-related data in our database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Performance Analysis: Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to analyze the effectiveness of chapter development strategies, email marketing campaigns, and social media efforts and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an educational institution with a focus on sales, marketing, business development, communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Creativity and innovation in developing strategies for chapter growth
  • Basic understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • A collaborative and team-oriented approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and performance metrics.
  • Comfortable with email marketing platforms and data management tools.
