Automation/RPA Intern, Summer 2025

As an Automation/RPA Intern, you will assist with project management related to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Governance, and Controls. This is a full-time internship opportunity with the capacity for hybrid working arrangements.

What You Will Do:

  • Work on integration and RPA projects related to process automation/efficiency. 
  • Assist in developing and implementing governance frameworks for AI projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the design and implementation of ethical AI principles and guidelines.
  • Create internal control frameworks/risk assessment matrices. 
  • Prepare reports and presentations for team meetings. 
  • Participate in a joint intern project and present your group’s recommendations to Independent Bank’s executive leadership team.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong interest in AI ethics, governance, and compliance
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Eagerness to learn.
  • Must be currently enrolled or recently graduated in a relevant field of study.
