Chassis Sales Intern
Position Overview and Objectives:
The intern will work with the Suspension sales team to support various tasks such as helping prepare market share data, gathering presentation documents, and working within HiSmart. In addition, support the account manager's data collection for supporting tooling audits, purchase orders, RFQ support, and other small tasks that need attention.
Responsibilities:
The intern will:
- Gain an understanding of automotive sales.
- Gain an understanding of observing and carrying out sales processes.
- Attending and participating in meetings, workshops, events, and exhibitions.
- Experience writing RFQ documentation.
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Very good organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently while providing proper direction.
- Experience with PCs and application software, such as MS Office tools, (other to be added)
Additionally, the ability to work independently once direction is given, will be considered.
Education: Be in the pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or similar may be required Minimum GPA of 2.8.
Experience: Coordinating and facilitating several small or one major projects.
Working Conditions:
Physical Demands: Sitting and standing for extended periods of time in an office and industrial lab environment. Capable of lifting equipment and apparatus repetitively weighing between 25lbs to 30lbs.
Travel: Potentially visit customer or vehicle test sites, if needed.
Work Environment: In office at least 5 days a week, consistent with company policy.
