Congressman Shri Thanedar (MI-13) is looking to hire a paid intern based out of his Detroit District Office. Interns will be hired for up to a four month period on a rolling basis. Successful candidates will have good communication and organizational skills, be comfortable working in group settings, and be responsible, dependable, and willing to learn.
Responsibilities include research, attending meetings, responding to constituent requests, drafting documents, and answering the telephone. Interns will develop a wide range of skills, assisting in matters of policy, public relations, office upkeep, and more. The job is wide-ranging and candidates must be flexible and willing to grow.
Preference will be given to candidates interested in a full time position, though part time is available.
