Public Relations Intern

Bad Kids Korporation Internship Program Position Title: Public Relations Intern (Los Angeles & Las Vegas) Supervisor: Tani Saeun, Creative Director Duration: 6 Months from Date of Signing Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Primarily Task-Based) Location: Remote, with Some In-Person Opportunities in Los Angeles and Las Vegas Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Public Relations Intern based in Los Angeles and Las Vegas to join our team. This position involves assisting with media outreach, event planning, press material creation, and building strong relationships with media contacts in both cities. You will gain hands-on experience in managing PR for high-profile projects in the entertainment and music industry. Key Responsibilities: ● Media Outreach: Research and reach out to media contacts, bloggers, and influencers in Los Angeles and Las Vegas to secure press coverage for events, releases, and brand initiatives. ● Press Materials: Assist in drafting press releases, media kits, and pitch emails that effectively communicate our projects’ key messages and appeal to target audiences. ● Event Coordination: Support planning and executing PR events, such as album launches, exclusive meet-and-greets, and media previews, in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. ● Media Monitoring: Track media coverage and create reports summarizing PR efforts and results, providing insights into the effectiveness of campaigns. ● Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with local media representatives, event coordinators, and PR agencies to enhance brand visibility. ● Crisis Management Support: Assist in managing public relations crises by drafting statements and coordinating responses with the team. ● Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop engaging press materials and social media content that align with the brand’s image and messaging. ● Community Engagement: Engage with local communities and stakeholders to build a positive brand image and increase brand awareness. ● Administrative Support: Organize PR assets, maintain press contact lists, and manage calendars for PR-related events. Requirements: ● Passion for PR & Entertainment: A strong interest in public relations, the entertainment industry, and media relations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas. ● Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creating compelling press content. ● Relationship Builder: Ability to establish and maintain relationships with media contacts, influencers, and event partners. ● Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. ● Event Planning Experience: Some experience or interest in event planning and coordination is preferred. ● Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms and how they can be used for PR purposes. ● Flexibility: Willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and adapt to changing priorities. ● Local Presence: Must be based in or have the ability to work in Los Angeles or Las Vegas, with the flexibility to attend events in person as needed. ● Self-Motivated: A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently on projects.
