Bad Kids Korporation Internship Program Position Title: Product Sourcer / Merchandising Expert Intern Supervisor: Tani Saeun, Creative Director Duration: 6 Months from Date of Signing Hours: 20-25 hours per week (Primarily Task-Based) Location: Remote, with Some Opportunities for In-Person Collaboration Role Overview: We are looking for a resourceful and detail-oriented Product Sourcer / Merchandising Expert Intern to help us develop and manage merchandise that supports our comic series and create unique in-world apparel inspired by our characters and storylines. You will be responsible for sourcing products, building relationships with vendors, and working with the creative team to design and launch merchandise that will captivate our audience and expand our brand. Key Responsibilities: ● Product Sourcing: Research and identify high-quality merchandise and apparel options that align with the themes and aesthetics of our comic series. Build and maintain relationships with vendors and manufacturers. ● Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and on-time delivery of products. ● Merchandise Development: Collaborate with the design team to create in-world apparel and themed merchandise that resonates with our audience, including T-shirts, accessories, collectibles, and more. ● Quality Control: Review product samples and prototypes to ensure they meet brand standards and quality expectations before launch. ● Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify merchandise trends, understand competitor offerings, and make recommendations for unique product opportunities. ● Budget Management: Assist in creating and managing budgets for merchandise production, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality. ● Campaign Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and campaign teams to coordinate product launches and promotional strategies for new merchandise. ● Inventory Management: Assist in tracking inventory levels, coordinating restocks, and managing product logistics to maintain efficient operations. ● Sustainability Initiatives: Identify and propose sustainable and eco-friendly options for merchandise production, aligning with the brand’s environmental values. ● Community Engagement: Engage with the fan community to understand their preferences and incorporate their feedback into future merchandise concepts.
