Youth Enrichment Instructor
Join our team! The City of Kentwood is seeking applicants for a Youth Enrichment Instructor in the Parks and Recreation Department.
The hourly pay rate for this position is $18.00. The City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department offers exciting perks for seasonal and irregular part-time employees. Team members can enjoy the programs and facilities their work supports through discounted program registrations and a 10% discount on one room or shelter rental per year. Certain employees will also receive free CPR training through the city.
Main responsibilities for this role include leading after-school and field trip activities for kids in elementary, middle, and high school. Activities and programs can include games, sports, arts and crafts, dance, teambuilding, nature, and science.
Our ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and one year of experience working with children in an education, recreation, or similar program. The Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department enriches the lives of community members through recreational, natural and cultural experiences that improve the quality of life for current and future generations.
