Social Media and Marketing Manager

Hours: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM, NYC Time, Monday to Friday

Compensation: Unpaid Internship

Eligibility: Open to students and recent graduates with a deep understanding of social media strategy, marketing, and team management


 

Role Overview


 

The Musicians Club is seeking a Social Media and Marketing Manager who brings 100,000% dedication, strategic insight, and relentless drive. This is an intense, high-responsibility role, tasked with leading our social media and marketing initiatives to new heights, expanding our brand reach, and managing a team to deliver exceptional results. This role is designed for someone with the expertise, passion, and confidence to execute, lead, and elevate our marketing impact in an aggressive growth environment.


 

Key Responsibilities


 

1. Social Media Strategy and Execution:

• Develop and implement high-impact social media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and brand recognition across platforms.

• Ensure consistent, on-brand content creation, scheduling, and posting, adjusting strategies based on data and performance.

• Actively monitor social trends and competitor strategies, continuously refining our approach to stay ahead.

2. Marketing Campaign Development:

• Design and execute digital marketing campaigns that align with The Musicians Club’s brand, growth targets, and user engagement goals.

• Manage campaign budgets, set clear KPIs, and adjust strategies based on data insights to maximize campaign effectiveness.

• Oversee the development of creative assets and content, ensuring all materials meet high standards of quality and alignment with brand messaging.

3. Team Management and Performance Accountability:

• Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a team of social media and marketing interns, ensuring all members are aligned with goals and deadlines.

• Conduct daily check-ins and performance reviews, providing guidance, feedback, and direction to help the team achieve the highest level of output.

• Set clear, ambitious targets for the team, tracking performance metrics to ensure every goal is met or exceeded.

4. Data-Driven Optimization and Reporting:

• Implement analytics tools to track campaign and social media performance, identifying areas for optimization and improvement.

• Generate weekly reports for the executive team, presenting data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.

• Continuously refine strategies and tactics based on performance data to ensure maximum impact.

5. Brand Growth and Audience Engagement:

• Act as the voice of the brand across social media channels, actively engaging with followers and responding to inquiries to build community.

• Drive audience engagement strategies that foster brand loyalty and attract new users to The Musicians Club.

• Plan and execute live events, partnerships, and collaborations with influencers to expand reach and visibility.


 

Requirements


 

• Proven expertise in social media strategy, digital marketing, and campaign management, ideally within a high-growth or dynamic environment.

• Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating a team to achieve ambitious goals.

• Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in social media analytics and campaign tracking tools.

• Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple campaigns and initiatives with intense focus and commitment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an innate understanding of branding, audience engagement, and content creation.
