Position Overview:
CSA is looking for an HR Operations & Relations Intern to support the management of volunteers and interns, ensuring a positive and enriching experience for all. In this role, you will work closely with our HR Operations & Relations Volunteer and team to help coordinate the volunteer and intern program, assist with onboarding, and ensure that volunteers and interns are motivated and well-supported throughout their tenure at CSA.
Key Responsibilities:
Onboarding Support:
Assist in the onboarding process for new volunteers and interns, including preparing training materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
Volunteer & Intern Relations:
Act as a point of contact for volunteers and interns, helping to resolve any issues and ensuring their needs are met. Support in creating a positive and engaging environment for all participants.
HR Operations Assistance:
Assist with administrative tasks related to HR, including maintaining records, updating personnel files, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Training & Development Support:
Help organize training materials and assist with onboarding sessions for new volunteers and interns. Support ongoing development initiatives to help our volunteers and interns succeed.
Event Coordination & Engagement:
Assist in organizing team-building activities, engagement events, and volunteer recognition efforts to foster a positive workplace culture.
Feedback & Reporting:
Gather feedback from volunteers and interns regarding their experience and suggest improvements to HR processes. Help compile and track HR metrics and reports.
HR Process Improvement:
Contribute to ongoing HR process improvements by providing feedback and suggesting efficiencies or innovative ideas to improve volunteer and intern engagement.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Nonprofit Management, Social Services, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Organized with an ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Interest in volunteer management, nonprofit work, and HR practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Location: Remote
Role Type: Internship (Part-time)
Time Commitment: Approximately 8 hours per week, flexible schedule.
