As a Marketing Intern on the Integrated Wealth Planning Marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role by enabling planners to leverage social media to search for, and engage with, prospects and current clients.  

   

In addition to an earnest desire to help people, we are looking for the ideal candidate to complement the team’s existing talents. For this Marketing Intern role, we are seeking a candidate who is a strategic thinker with strong project management skills, who likes to own the work, to help advance our social media engagement strategies. If you are comfortable working with social media and creating content, have a history of finding creative solutions and are eager to give to the business in an impactful way, this may be an opportunity for you!  

     

Responsibilities:   

  • Supports the adoption of Edelman Financial Engines Financial Planner planner-led social media program.
  • Assists Wealth Planning marketing team in campaigns and initiatives tied to lead generation.
  • Learns how to drive innovation within Linked In to support Financial Planners.
  • Assists Wealth Planning marketing team in social media content curation and creation.  
  • Creates templates for Financial Planners to use for content posting.  

 

Requirements:   

  • Must be a Rising Sophomore/Junior
  • Majors Desired: Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Public Relations
  • Curiosity about Marketing, Digital Marketing, Marketing Communications, Public Relations
  • Self-starter, problem solver, creative spirit, strategic thinker; strong project management and time-management skills.  
  • Familiar with Linked In.
  • Interest in Financial Services industry.
