Oracle Applications Developer
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & Customization: Design, develop, and customize Oracle Applications (including Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, and other Oracle technologies) to meet specific business requirements.
- Integration: Work on integrating Oracle Applications with other enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data exchange and process flow across various platforms.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Oracle Applications and associated systems. Analyze and fix performance issues and bugs.
- Implementation & Upgrades: Lead or assist in the implementation of new Oracle modules or upgrades to existing applications, ensuring minimal disruption and smooth transitions.
- Database Management: Work with Oracle databases (SQL, PL/SQL) to optimize queries, data models, and procedures that support application functionality.
- Customization & Extensions: Build custom reports, forms, and workflows to enhance the functionality of Oracle Applications. Leverage Oracle tools like Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and OAF (Oracle Application Framework).
- Collaborative Development: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, provide technical solutions, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that customizations and configurations meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for development, customizations, and configurations, including user guides, release notes, and implementation plans.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Application Development (Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud, or similar Oracle technologies).
- Strong experience with Oracle development tools and technologies such as PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF (Oracle Application Framework), and Web Services.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud applications (Fusion) or Oracle SaaS solutions is a plus.
- Experience with integration technologies like SOAP, REST, and Oracle SOA Suite.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, and related Oracle database technologies.
- Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite modules (e.g., Financials, Procurement, HRMS, SCM) and their customization.
- Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and Oracle SaaS solutions.
- Experience with application lifecycle management and using version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of middleware platforms and integration tools.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interact with business users and technical teams effectively.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA, OSB, OIC).
- Knowledge of Oracle APEX, Java, or other programming languages.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Oracle Certifications (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Cloud Developer) are a plus.
