About these Opportunities: 7-Eleven Inc. has several opportunities for Summer Internships.  Each internship opportunity will occur during the summer months, (10-12 weeks), focused on a specific functional area, and will provide the candidate with a depth experience within the area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders.  Each intern will work closely with a coach who will meet regularly to discuss project progress, provide direction and ongoing feedback. In addition, each intern will attend a lunch series which will provide a cross-functional view into the organization and give the interns exposure to senior leadership.  The interns will also have the experience of touring a store and learning about our distribution systems. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with developing customer experience and customer journey.
  • Lead discovery and design solution for Store Systems based feature.
  • Stakeholder engagement, partner with product team, identify problem statement, develop user stories, determine KPIs
  • Assist delivery product manager and the external partners in agile product development lifecycle; especially bring store operations, accounting and merchandising perspective.
  • Issue resolution from testing & implementation.
  • Develop feature that simplifies existing store process.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree (Bachelors or Master’s) in Data Science, Data Analytics, Digital Product Management or related field
  • Strong, clear and concise communication and writing skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail, time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to independently lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional colleagues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
