SpiL- Worship Leader Intern

Job Description:  Worship Leader Interns serve the George Fox community by assisting the Office for Spiritual Life in the creation, administration and assessment of programs designed for the spiritual formation of all participants, and particularly the undergraduate community.

 

The Worship Leader  Intern will:
 

  1. Coordinate all aspects of the Weekly Student Led Worship Service in partnership with Campus Ministry Interns. 
  2. Attend and assist Chapel/Convocation Services and support in the chapel/convocation planning service. 
  3. Offering spiritual friendship/pastoral presence in community:  leading prayer, leading groups, sharing devotional messages for various meetings, supporting R.A. staffs, holding space for students to be listened to and prayed with, conversational ministry, etc.

Assisting the Spiritual Life Office team on various campus-wide ministry efforts, in particular: Serve Day (Fall 2022), MLK Serve Day (Spring 2023), local church partnerships, Welcome Weekend, holiday celebrations, chapels and other on-campus opportunities, promoting a strong vision and implementation of discipleship to Christ.
