About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2024. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

Roles Responsibilities
As a small and medium size rooftop intern, you will gain experience to include, but is not limited to activities and tasks listed below:

Focus Areas

  • New Product Development
  • Heat Transfer, Fluid Flow, Thermodynamics, and Controls
  • Product Documentation
  • Project Management

Specific Tasks

  • Develop product literature, including physical data and performance tables
  • Run computer models to simulate system and component performance
  • Support engineering projects by organizing parts for prototype builds and working with mechanics and model shop to build parts and assemblies
  • Work with the design team in developing purchased parts specifications
  • Attend company functions, lunch and learns, and networking events
  • Shadow multiple office positions and train in a variety of tasks
     

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) in an Engineering discipline (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Chemical, etc.)
  • GPA must be greater than or equal to 3.0 GPA.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
