Business Development Intern - Bilingual in Mandarin
The Business Development Intern will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, supporting client acquisition efforts, and contributing to strategic initiatives. This role provides valuable exposure to market research, lead generation, client relationship management, and the overall business development process.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Lead Generation
- Conduct research to identify new markets, industries, and client prospects.
- Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market opportunities.
- Assist in building and maintaining a database of potential leads.
Client Engagement
- Support outreach efforts to potential clients through email, phone, and social media platforms.
- Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.
- Help maintain strong relationships with existing clients by managing communications and addressing inquiries.
Strategic Support
- Collaborate with the business development team to evaluate and prioritize opportunities.
- Assist in tracking and reporting key metrics related to sales and partnerships.
- Provide support in preparing business development reports and performance summaries.
Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with the marketing team to align strategies and campaigns with business development goals.
- Participate in team meetings to brainstorm and strategize new initiatives.
- Contribute to planning and executing events, meetings, and other activities aimed at client acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to business growth.
- (Preferred) Proficiency in Mandarin or another language relevant to your target market.
