Operation Mobilization (OM) is a multicultural movement of Jesus followers, striving to live all of life on mission with God in the everyday places of life and work where access to the gospel is limited.
The Remote Business Internship is for young professionals who want to:
- Use your business skills in the USA while serving an international organization.
- Get practical experience with current business techniques and processes.
- Experience shadowing, mentoring, and training opportunities with successful professionals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research, analyze, and report on relevant market environments and best practices
- Present completed research to officers or involved employees
- Propose a sustainable and competitive business model by synthesizing research and feedback
- Collaboratively plan/execute action steps to begin implementing the proposed business model
- Projects could be in the field(s) of fundraising, sustainability, corporate development, or Business for Transformation

Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong verbal and communication skills
- Excellent research and reporting skills
- Completed Sophomore or Junior year of college or Recent Graduate
- Major in Management, Business, or related field
Additional Info:
- Spring Semester Cohort Dates: January 27 - April 11, 2025.
- All interns must be in full agreement OM USA’s Statement of Faith.
- Required pre-start training through online materials and video conference sessions with coaches and an Intern Cohort in the weeks leading up to the start date. Includes debriefing with coaches on the completion of the internship.
- This is an unpaid, volunteer internship that requires about 10-15 hours per week.
Accreditation:
- Degree Credit is available upon the approval of your university/college supervisors.
- Supervisors are typically management-level and have experience both in the corporate world in their field and in international nonprofits. Specific supervisor qualifications can be provided as needed for determining internship eligibility for college credit in your program.
