About the Organization
We bring people together to create, improve and care for green spaces. From local parks and community gardens to Local Nature Reserves and Sites of Special Scientific Interest; from school grounds and hospital grounds to waterways, wetlands, and woodlands; we connect people to the green spaces that form a vital part of any healthy, happy community. Our team of dedicated, passionate staff and volunteers work with communities across England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland, and, through our Community Network, we support local community groups across the UK. We are one of the main partners for the London Borough of Waltham Forest, delivering activities that connect people and greenspace. You will be working to support our team to deliver activities with local schools and families, with the aims of improving greenspace, health and wellbeing, through connectivity with the outdoors.

Supervisors provide and oversee daily tasks, introduce the intern to team members, and mentor the intern in organizational agility, skill acquisition, and career readiness. Interns complete a midpoint and final evaluation, and supervisors complete a final evaluation of their interns. All work responsibilities and projects are approved in advance.
