Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Crash CAE Engineering Intern for the Summer of 2025 (April to August). This role offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on experience in crash and safety simulation within the automotive engineering field.
- Location: This is an in-person role based at our Troy, MI facility, requiring availability up to 5 days per week.
- Focus Areas: Ideal for candidates passionate about automotive crash safety analysis and vehicle simulation testing, with a strong interest in advancing vehicle safety through innovative engineering.

What you get to do:
- Conduct crash simulations to support comprehensive vehicle safety testing and analysis within our engineering department.
- Develop and implement automated simulation models to evaluate and validate design feasibility effectively.
- Establish and refine safety parameters based on insights gained from simulation test results.
- Identify and propose optimized solutions to meet critical project goals and performance benchmarks.
- Travel locally to test sites to oversee and execute hands-on testing, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
What you bring to the team:
- Academic Excellence: Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a master’s program in engineering, with a completed bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering.
- Availability: Able to commit to a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week throughout the summer semester.
