C++ Software Developer
Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is actively seeking a highly qualified C++ Software Developer for software development for the Intelligence and Defense communities. The candidate assists senior software engineers with routine assignments using an AGILE process. Applies fundamental knowledge of operating systems and programming languages. Works on well-defined problems and learns under direct supervision. The successful candidate will be self-directing and able to work both independently and coordinate effectively across a broader team utilizing a variety of technologies. Possesses sufficient writing skills to prepare and generate technical reports and other documentation pertinent to the position.

This is a hybrid schedule, Mondays and Thursdays at Prime Contractor site, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from home or ARA office.
C++ Software Developer Required Qualifications:
* Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active secret security clearance
* BS in Computer Science / Mathematics / Physics / Engineering / Information Technology along with 4 years of relevant work experience
* Strong foundation in software development and experience with C++, Java, Docker
* Demonstrated experience going from problem statement to prototype to production-ready algorithms
* Team player with excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
