Service Desk Attendant

Service Desk Attendants create a welcoming and supportive environment when students check-in for appointments and inquire about services at the OU Counseling Center. 

Graduate students in social work, counseling or psychology preferred. 

• Must have junior, or senior class standing at Oakland University by fall 2024.
• Current cumulative and semester GPA must be 2.75 or higher
• Must not be found responsible for serious conduct violations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as attention to detail required

Duties include: 

• Greet and check-in students at the clinic's front window
• Answer phones
• Gather information from students requesting Counseling Center services
• Conduct light clinical/risk assessment with supervision
