What You Can Expect:

This 9-month virtual internship will provide you with practical experience in technical writing, documentation, and content creation. You will:

• Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing teams to create clear, concise, and compelling technical content for various audiences.
• Write product manuals, user guides, FAQs, knowledge base articles, and technical blog posts.
• Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand content.
• Learn best practices in technical writing, documentation standards, and content optimization.
• Build a professional portfolio showcasing your technical writing work and accomplishments.
• Access upskilling courses to improve your technical writing abilities.
• Participate in in-person networking and professional events in your region (DMV, NJ, NY, or Atlanta).

While this is an unpaid internship, a stipend will be provided upon successful completion of the program.

Responsibilities:

As a Technical Copywriting Intern, you will:

• Work closely with product managers and engineers to understand technical content and translate it for a broader audience.
• Maintain a consistent voice and tone in all technical writing materials.
• Participate in content brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas for documentation improvements.

Qualifications:

• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Ability to understand and simplify complex technical information.
• Familiarity with technical writing tools (e.g., MadCap Flare, Google Docs, Microsoft Word) is a plus.
