NSC Marketing and Creation Internships

2025 Marketing and Creation Internship Opportunities

The National Sports Center (NSC) is hiring four marketing interns for the summer of 2025. These positions include Graphic Design, Digital Marketing, Content Creation, and General Marketing. 

Interns will assist in the marketing, research and promotion of major amateur sporting events and projects sponsored by the NSC.? These include Target USA CUP soccer tournament, NSC All American Cup and other external bid events as well as promotion for facilities on campus and Victory Links Golf Course.

Each intern will have a primary area of expertise including graphic design, digital marketing, content creation and general marketing (please see next page for specifics); however, all interns will be exposed to various areas of content creation and marketing. The interns will focus on producing editorial content, growing brand identity and promoting NSC partners, sponsors, tournaments and additional events. The ideal candidates are passionate about storytelling and sports development and are eager to learn about various methods of content production and digital marketing. 

POSITIONS

CONTENT CREATION SPECIFIC:

  • Assist in filming, editing, and producing live photo and video content for various platforms including Instagram and Tik Tok
  • Take and edit photos
  • Create engaging social media posts, stories, and reels to promote brand awareness.
  • Participate in live coverage of events, including live-content and real-time social media updates.
  • Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for campaigns
  • Conduct research on trends in content creation and social media engagement
  • Help manage and update content calendars for social media platforms
  • Monitor analytics and performance metrics to evaluate content effectiveness

MARKETING GENERAL SPECIFIC:

  • CRM database management, lead generation and reporting 
  • Email marketing assistance in managing through the sales funnel 
  • Sales prospecting 
  • Assistance on sponsorship fulfillment and paid media 
  • Campaign building
  • market research and analysis  
  • Other duties as assigned 
  • Develop content marketing ideas and campaigns 
  • Write content material for all forms of digital and offline marketing materials 
  • Assist in managing social media accounts 
  • Stay up to date with content creation and industry trends and practices 
  • Work with Google and social analytics to assess the success of original content in driving web traffic and registration sales 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned 

DIGITAL MARKETING:

  • Assist in managing and creating content for social media platforms 
  • Edit and update website content to ensure accuracy and relevance 
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including crafting engaging copy and designing templates 
  • Monitor and analyze social media and email campaign performance metrics 
  • Conduct research on industry trends and competitor activities 
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement new marketing strategies. 
  • Help with general administrative tasks related to digital marketing efforts  

GRAPHIC DESIGN:

  • Collaborate with the design team on projects, including branding, marketing materials, and digital content. 
  • Create graphics for social media, websites, and print media 
  • Assist in the development of presentations and proposals 
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas 
  • Provide support in maintaining and updating design assets 
  • Conduct research on design trends and competitor analysis 
  • Print Production 
  • Other Duties as Assigned

TIMING 

All internships are a paid bi-weekly stipend. During the summer, hours are 40+ per week. Interns should be flexible with time, as many positions require event work in evenings and weekends. Interns MUST be available to work June 6-8, June 28-29, and July 10-20, 2025. The last day of the internship will be July 25, 2025. All positions are available for course credit as approved by your institution.

Candidates will be asked to attend an in-person interview at the National Sports Center. If alternative interview dates or methods are needed, those can be requested. 

Interns have the opportunity to stay in our on-campus dormitory housing during their summer internship.
