We're looking for talented interns to join and help build our Venture Capital efforts. We're building a better way forward for the 53+ million Americans who are managing care for a loved one living with serious illness or disability. We're backed by Duke Health, Blue Cross Blue Shield and several other organizations interested in improving healthcare access and affordability.

The Venture Capital Intern would be someone who loves networking, financial analysis, business strategy, and delivering in-depth presentations on AI and health tech-related investments. The Intern would be curious, hard-working, and interested in learning how complex startups work. And critically, in creating persuasive presentations to help analyze and make the investment case for the most promising innovations.

Qualifications:

• Experience and/or interest in venture capital or finance (part-time jobs, internships or student clubs)

• Great communication skills

• Critical thinking and analysis of complex problems

• Being organized and dependable

• A team player, communicator and facilitator and enjoy working with others

• Have great work ethic and ambition; want to join an early-stage startup to achieve major career success and upside quickly

Responsibilities:

• You will work alongside the core team and executives to build the best venture capital experience we can deliver

• Comfortable asking questions to users and stakeholders

• Work with the team to solve problems

• Learn about the challenges the healthcare system faces and gain a deep understanding of the problem/solution offered by competitive tech startups

Salary range can be flexible based on work experience and background. Opportunity for year-end cash bonuses and/or equity in the startup over time for an amazing person!
