VulcanForms Inc. seeks a Sales Intern for our Devens, MA location.

 

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Sales Intern to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, business development, and marketing. As a Sales Intern, you will support our sales team by conducting market research, managing social media campaigns, creating impactful sales content, and developing strategies to attract and retain clients. You will gain practical experience in customer engagement, lead generation, and persuasive communication while contributing directly to the success of our organization.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Create persuasive and compelling sales materials, including email campaigns, presentations, and promotional content, to assist sales executives in customer engagements.
  • Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, competitors, and customers to identify potential leads and new business opportunities.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through outreach efforts such as cold calls, emails, customer follow-ups, and networking events.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to refine outreach strategies. Track and report key metrics related to the sales process and campaigns, including CRM management.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to align sales and marketing strategies effectively.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling meetings, coordinating follow-ups, and organizing sales documentation.

 

Qualifications

  • Research Expertise: Ability to conduct in-depth market research and translate findings into actionable insights.
  • Social Media Marketing: Experience managing social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
  • Persuasive Writing: Strong writing skills to craft engaging sales pitches, emails, and promotional materials.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive mindset with the ability to identify and address challenges in a dynamic sales environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required; familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0.

  • This is a paid co-op/internship opportunity starting in May 2025 and will last for 3 months
