Specific responsibilities include:
- Auditing various invoices for payment
- Reconciling various recurring payments
- Processing payment requests in the North Carolina Financial System (NCFS) accounting system
The selected intern will be responsible for:
- Successful completion of assigned projects
- Timeliness with completion of deadline driven tasks
- Responsiveness to information request from internal and external customers
- Completion of required trainings
The selected intern is expected to possess the following skills:
- Attention to detail
- Communication skills including the ability to communicate with all internal and external customers
- Problem solving
- Willingness to learn
This internship is expected to start on May 19, 2025, and continue through July 25, 2025. The work schedule is part-time (up to 30 hours per week), Monday -Friday. The rate of pay is $18.00 per hour.
