Graphic Design/Photography Intern
Job Description:
The Royal Oak Leprechauns are seeking a Graphic Design/Photography Intern who will report to the Director of Marketing. This individual will assist with creating marketing and game day content through video, photo, and design elements. Please provide a portfolio with your application.
Responsibilities Include:
- Actively research/stay on top of internet trends relevant to our team/target audience.
- Assist with planning/design/execution of in-game marketing material with the marketing team.
- Assist with posting content on social media platforms.
- Capture video and photo content during the game or social media for promotional purposes.
- Design sales, promotional, marketing, and community relations materials as assigned through video or graphic design.
- Edit graphics, video content, and photos for promotional and marketing purposes in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro).
- Maintain the Leprechauns visual brand identity.
- Support the execution of in-game promotions as needed.
- Assist other departments as needed, including stadium prep work during pre-season and pre/post-game.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills:
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Lightroom).
- Photo/video shooting and editing experience.
- Knowledge of video techniques, including camera positioning, lighting, etc.
- Must be a creative thinker with the ability to think of new, fun ideas to improve the fan experience through video.
- A general understanding of baseball is preferred.
- Knowledge of posting/editing/maintaining social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Ability to take instruction and execute content plans.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented.
- A personal computer for necessary storage, editing, etc.
- A personal camera to shoot photo and video.
