Marketing Reporting Intern
Banyan Technology is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Reporting Intern to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Digital Marketing Strategy & Operations, the Reporting intern will focus on supporting the team with data-driven insights related to sales and marketing performance, revenue metrics, and lead generation activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a high level of comfort working with numbers, technical systems and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel. The primary functions of the role include generating weekly, monthly, quarterly marketing and sales reporting, documenting processes and working with senior leadership to capture critical metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and analyze sales and marketing performance data to provide actionable insights.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for revenue, lead generation, and campaign performance.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for leadership, highlighting trends and opportunities.
- Support the Marketing team in evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Business Intelligence, to align on data accuracy and reporting standards.
- Conduct ad hoc data analysis as needed to address specific business questions or opportunities.
Core Skills & Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and charts.
- Familiarity with CRM systems management (HubSpot, Salesforce) and data extraction is a plus.
- Basic understanding of marketing and sales metrics (e.g., ROI, conversion rates, pipeline stages).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
