HRIS & Reporting Analyst

D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an HRIS & Reporting Analyst. The right candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and accuracy of data, system configuration, operation, and optimization in various modules of PeopleSoft, including HCM, Benefits, Payroll, Time & Labor.  Responsible for regular audits; troubleshooting irregularities; partnering with the HR and HRIS groups to research and correct discrepancies, while ensuring compliance with Internal Audit standards and company policies.  Perform a variety of research activities and support multiple functions in order to develop and support process improvements where applicable. Serve as subject matter expert to business end-users, addressing user questions and troubleshooting issues.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for resolution of Tier I support requests from other departments and employees, including PeopleSoft access tickets
  • Make transaction entries in a timely manner
  • Research and identify root cause of problems and communicate clearly with involved parties in a timely manner
  • Ensures data integrity through management of data and effective data processing guidelines.  Develops, documents, and implements new and revised processes to improve data integrity
  • Maintains a very high degree of confidentiality related to personnel data and other information maintained in PeopleSoft
  • Proactively identifies and recommends process improvement in HRIS, reporting and other HR functions
  • Assist in the testing of HRIS system upgrades or patches and other projects
  • Develops, maintains, analyzes, and supports reports of varying complexities utilizing appropriate reporting tools and including coordination with the report writer, as applicable
  • Responsible for reporting; ad hoc requests, scheduled reports and reports from gov’t agencies
  • Identifies, evaluates, and resolves data anomalies by running reports and performing analysis on selected information
  • Interacts with leaders, supervisors, and teams to complete necessary data management required for data processing and auditing
  • Assists in the training of new staff on systems and related procedures
  • Supports annual programs and initiatives by performing associated/assigned tasks
  • Develops/maintains standard work processes, user procedures, guidelines, and documentation
  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company
  • Manage HRIS Help Desk tickets and HR Support inbox with minimal supervision and escalate issues to a supervisor as appropriate
  • Regular, reliable, and full attendance
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Work additional hours as needed for coverage, projects and/or deadlines
  • Produce work product in a high stress environment
  • Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications - External

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or four to six years of equivalent work experience
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
  • Strong understanding of PeopleSoft database design, structure, functions and processes and experience with database tools
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision
  • The noise level is generally moderate

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ITSM, such as Cherwell is helpful

Schedule : Hybrid (In-office Wednesday and 2 other days, 8 hr range between 7:30am and 6PM, to be determined, after a period of in-office training)
