We are currently seeking a Summer Intern in Risk, Compliance, and Operations to join our team. In this role, you will learn risk assessment processes, audit methodologies, compliance practices, incident management, and operational support within the real estate industry.
As a Summer Intern in Risk, Compliance, and Operations at JLL, you will:
- Assist in developing and maintaining risk assessment processes: Help identify potential risks across service lines and high-risk topics.
- Support the audit calendar and assurance work: Contribute to planning and executing audits for Facilities Management (FM) and Project Development Services (PDS), including preparing test plans and coordinating resources.
- Participate in incident management: Assist in tracking, reporting, and analyzing incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support insurance claims management: Help gather information, prepare documentation, and liaise with relevant parties for insurance claims processing.
- Assist with Performance and Operations activities: Contribute to performance reporting, process improvement initiatives, and operational efficiency projects.
- Contribute to reporting and presentations: Help prepare reports and presentations for leadership and stakeholders on audit results, risk assessments, and operational performance.
- Review existing business continuity plans for all Business Services functions: identify areas for improvement / develop and/or update business continuity procedures
- Pay rate - $19-$21/hr
Education, Skills, and Experience
Actively pursuing a degree, majoring in Business Administration, Risk Management, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Interest in risk management, compliance, and operations within the real estate industry
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Basic understanding of project management principles
- Familiarity with incident reporting and management processes is a plus
