Join our team at BOS Automotive Products, Inc. and embark on this exciting new opportunity! We are looking for an Electrical Engineering Intern to engage in all aspects of product creation for the Engineering team here at BOS!

What You'll Do:

  • Participate in every part of the product creation process, including:
  • Partner with engineers to design and model components
  • Perform feasibility, functional, and quality testing
  • Research, collect data, and make calculations to recommend changes to assemblies or component parts

Skills Required to do the Job:

  • Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and basic engineering tools
  • Knowledge of basic engineering principles, including GD&T
  • Experience with modeling programs such as Catia preferred
  • Ability to think critically, act independently and interdependently
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Be self-motivated and driven to complete tasks at hand
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills required
  • Responds to change as a positive challenge
  • Significant level of multi-tasking required
  • Ability to preserve confidentiality of information
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing customer service

Education Required:

  • Pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited college or university

This position is located at our facility in Rochester Hills, Michigan. The intern will be required to work on-site.
