Recruiting Intern(paid)
Individuals interning for PIBC this spring will be working remotely. This is a paid internship. The internship will take place from early March to mid May. Exact dates will be determined on an individual basis through the hiring process. Working at PIBC has proven to be an effective opportunity for those looking to break into the basketball industry. We ensure our interns have the proper training and access to information through remote communication, insuring that the internship be a valuable learning experience for them. Part of our mission as a company is to help place our standout interns in exciting and rewarding full-time jobs in the basketball and sports industry.
Duties:
- Primarily serve as a Recruiting intern, with the goal of recruiting new customers and participants for camp sessions
- Perform weekly targeted calls and update customer database with pertinent information
- Manage incoming correspondence with customers via email and telephone, providing customer service
- Communicate and work effectively with college and club basketball coaches both for the purpose of recruiting campers and staffing camp with coaches
Qualifications:
- Outgoing and personable
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently
- Adequate computer skills
- Maintain decorum and confidentiality when interacting with clients
- Knowledge of the basketball industry strongly preferred
