Are you ready to lace up and step into the fast-paced world of in-house law? At Hibbett | City Gear, we’re looking for a sharp, ambitious Legal Intern to join our squad for the Summer of 2025. This is your chance to learn the game from experienced attorneys while working on real legal projects that keep our business running smoothly. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Legal Intern, you’ll tackle challenges that matter, diving into all corners of corporate law. Your key plays will include: 

  • Contract Playbook: Assist with contract negotiation, management, and streamlining legal documentation like a pro. 
  • Litigation Assist: Team up with outside law firms to support dispute resolution and litigation strategy. 
  • All-Star Research: Work on projects related to tax, advertising, real estate law, intellectual property, and corporate structuring. 
  • Legal Game-Changer: Help integrate legal assets (like trademarks and patents) and ensure our legal squad uses unified tools and resources. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

We need a law student ready to bring their A-game to the table. Here’s what we’re scouting for: 

  • Law Student Status: Rising 2L or 3L with at least one year of law school under your belt (3.0 GPA preferred). 
  • Sharp Skills: Strong research and analytical abilities that rival the best in the game. 
  • Detail-Oriented: The ability to handle multiple tasks and keep everything running smoothly. 
  • Team Player: Strong written and verbal communication skills and a passion for collaboration.
